PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Prince George’s County Executive Aisha Braveboy has tapped Dr. Shawn Joseph to lead Prince George’s County Public Schools. Joseph has been serving as interim superintendent since Millard House II left the role in June 2025.
Braveboy said Joseph consistently distinguished himself throughout the superintendent search process, consistently getting high ratings from participants in the interview process.
“One evaluator described him as an outstanding candidate who is both engaging and knowledgeable,” Braveboy said Monday.
