Horse rescued after falling through bridge in Maryland state park

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — A horse was saved after it fell through a pedestrian bridge in Patuxent River State Park over the weekend.

Rescue crews went out onto the trail after getting a call for an injured person around 1:40 p.m., and while searching for the person, they came across the horse. The horse’s leg had fallen through a wooden pedestrian bridge and it was stuck.
