Video footage leads to arrests in Southeast DC double shooting

Police say the shooting happened when a fight escalated.

WASHINGTON — Two people have been arrested for a shooting that put two people in the hospital last month. Police say video footage played a role in bringing the two men into custody. 

Just before 7 p.m. on May 10, DC Police officers were called to the 1600 block of T Street Southeast for a report of a shooting. Officers found a man had been shot and wounded. A short time later, police found a second person had taken themselves to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot
