Two tails, six paws, one home: Special needs dog, cat get adopted together

French mix Blueberry and Meadow the cat found their fur-ever home in Maryland with a family specializing in “tripods.”

FORT WASHINGTON, Md. — A one-year-old French bulldog mix and a 10-month-old black cat have many things in common. 

First, Blueberry the dog and Meadow the cat were adopted by a Maryland couple. 

“Blueberry and Meadow came from a lot of trauma,  it seems, specifically Blueberry,” said new owner Rachel Clark. 

Second, the pair both have only three legs. Blueberry is missing a paw on her front, and Meadow has only one rear leg.
