UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Police in Prince George’s County are investigating a shooting in Upper Marlboro that left a woman critically injured Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to the 10400 block of Birdie Lane around 7:20 a.m. after receiving a report of a woman who had been shot. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman outside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds.
She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.
