Legal battle brewing over redevelopment of former GEICO headquarters in Friendship Heights

FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS VILLAGE, Md. — A new redevelopment plan for the former GEICO corporate headquarters in Friendship Heights is drawing sharp criticism from neighbors who say the proposal ignores a nearly 30-year-old legal ‘promise’ made to Montgomery County.
