WASHINGTON — The family of a DC man killed by police faces a new hurdle in trying to get their civil suit judgment.

“Justice for who? Deon Kay,” chanted Nee Nee Taylor, Founder of Harriet’s Wildest Dreams. 

Community members rallied outside Attorney General of DC Brian Schwalb’s office on Monday. Schwalb filed a notice of appeal in the civil suit over the death of 18-year-old Deon Kay – delaying the $655,000 awarded
