House committee questions DC Water, EPA about Potomac sewage spill

DC Water said bacteria levels in the Potomac River have been back to normal for two months, but lawmakers want to know how they’ll prevent a similar spill.

WASHINGTON — Four months after the Potomac Interceptor broke and released millions of gallons of raw sewage into the Potomac River, DC Water and EPA leaders will face direct questions from lawmakers.
