If you’re using Metro’s bus or rail service this weekend, you may want to plan ahead.
WASHINGTON — WMATA announced on Wednesday that Metro trains and buses will run on different hours over Memorial Day weekend due to the holiday and track work.
On Memorial Day, Metro Rail will open at 6 a.m. and halt service at midnight. Buses will run on a Sunday schedule.
Parking will be free over the weekend, and weekend fares will be available. Memorial Day fares will be normal weekday fares.
