LAUREL, Md. — Two weeks after a Cinco de Mayo celebration at a restaurant turned violent, a Laurel restaurant has agreed not to celebrate in outdoor tents for the next three years.
Amigos Mexican Grill reopened last Friday after three people were shot and two others were stabbed outside the restaurant around 10 p.m. on May 5. The restaurant had hosted a Cinco de Mayo event earlier that evening, and investigators believe a fight broke out outside.
