Man dead after being pulled from Anacostia River

DC Police believe the man fell off a boat and no foul play is suspected.

WASHINGTON — A man is dead after falling into the Anacostia River over the weekend. DC Police said Monday that they believe the man fell out of a boat, and no foul play is suspected.

DC Fire and EMS crews were called to the 1300 block of Water Street Southeast for a water rescue around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. Arriving rescue crews learned that a man had gone missing in the water at a dock of the boat club. Both land units
