The owners of the shop said people were inside the store at the time the keg was thrown.
WASHINGTON — Georgetown Cupcake was vandalized Sunday night, when a person threw a keg through one of the front windows of the business.
Owners Katherine Berman and Sophie LaMontagne said there were people inside the store when the keg came through the window in a statement.
“That level of disregard for others is shocking,” Berman and LaMontagne said. “This isn’t just property damage; it’s reckless, dangerous, and completely unacceptable behavior that could have seriously hurt someone.”
