Prince George’s County signs law that targets attendees of illegal street races

Starting this summer, anyone caught attending an illegal street race can be fined $1000 and face up to sixty days in jail.

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Prince George’s County Council members joined law enforcement at a Tuesday morning press conference to announce a new law targeting attendees of illegal street races.

Councilmembers unanimously passed a bill that fines attendees $1000 and issues up to 60 days in jail.
