Max Davis’ brother Beck died by suicide in 2023. Now, he’s raising suicide awareness and helping families along the way.
WASHINGTON — As May 10 approaches, Max Davis is preparing for a deeply personal challenge. He’s running a full marathon around the Washington Monument.

“I’ve always used running as a way to help with stress,” Davis said.
In just a few short days and with very little preparation he’ll run more than 300 laps around the Washington Monument, “I really didn’t train for this,” he said.
Nonetheless, he plans to complete 26.2 miles
