COLUMBIA, Md. — Police in Howard County believe an illegal car rally erupted in violence early Monday. A shooting in a parking garage in Columbia left one person dead and five others hurt.
Officers with the Howard County Police Department responded to the garage in the 6700 block of Alexander Bell Drive for a report of a shooting around 5:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found one man dead and another with a wound not thought to be life-threatening.
