Woodbridge apartment fire injures 3; resident jumps from second floor

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Firefighters in Prince William County responded to a reported apartment fire at the Meridian Bay Apartments in the 2900 block of Fox Lair Drive in Woodbridge around 2 p.m., officials said. One resident jumped from a window, and another was rescued from the top floor.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the building, according to Battalion Chief Brian Ferguson.
