WASHINGTON — United States Park Police pursued a U-Haul truck on Suitland Parkway Sunday night. Police say the moving truck was driving recklessly.
According to a spokesperson for USPP, officers tried to pull over the U-Haul around 9:30 p.m. The driver of the truck did not stop, and Park Police officers gave chase. The pursuit ended when the U-Haul van reached a dead end around Second Street and Wilmington Place Southeast, which is not far from Wayne’s Place Senior Living.
