GLENDALE – The Arizona Cardinals face a new dilemma ahead of next week’s NFL draft. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, last year’s starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett is skipping phase one of the franchise’s offseason program in pursuit of a new deal. Brissett signed a two-year, 12.5 million deal in the 2025 offseason and out performed the contract by starting 11 games and throwing over 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns.
Despite the stats, the 33-year-old is only due $1.5 million in guaranteed money in 2026, leading to his desire to getting a new deal done.
