Medstar Washington Hospital Center hosts a community baby shower to tackle high maternal mortality rates among Black women during Black Maternal Health Week.
WASHINGTON — As we close out Black Maternal Health Week, Medstar Washington Hospital Center is hosting a community baby shower.
The free baby shower is being held on Saturday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event includes free resources such as: health screenings, educational resources, and complimentary baby items.
This is the hospital’s 2nd annual event.
