FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on I-495 on Wednesday.
Around 3:52 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a crash that involved two vehicles: a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle and a pickup truck on I-95/495 NB (Outer Loop) past Eisenhower Avenue (Exit 174). When the troopers arrived on scene, they found the motorcyclist lying on the roadway with bystanders attempting to administer aid.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. Troopers are working to identify the motorcyclist.
