CULPEPER COUNTY, Va. — A golden toilet left on the front lawn of a county administration building has sparked calls, media attention and plenty of jokes, but no formal investigation, according to the sheriff.
“I’m not even sure if, if you can call it an investigation,” said Sheriff Tim Chilton in an interview with WUSA9 Wednesday night.
“We come on here with you guys for pursuits and shootings, stabbings, you name it, but, this one’s a little different,” he said laughing.
