
An autopsy report revealed Colorado quarterback Dominiq Ponder’s blood-alcohol content was just over twice the legal limit when he died in a car crash on March 1.
Ponder was driving a 2023 Tesla in Boulder County, Colorado, at approximately 3 a.m. when he lost control on a curve, crossed the other lane, hit a guardrail and his vehicle subsequently rolled down an embankment after hitting an electrical pole.

The 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Per multiple outlets that obtained the autopsy results, Ponder’s blood-alcohol content was 0.167. Colorado’s legal limit is 0.08.
