OLD TAPPAN − Senior quarterback Zach Miceli and Old Tappan looked more like a state title contender in the second half than after the first two quarters of their season opener.
Miceli ran for three second-half touchdowns to lead the Golden Knights to a 35-26 victory over Ramapo on Sept. 4 in the Super Football Conference.

“I thought we played a great, gutsy second half,” coach Brian Dunn said after registering his 200th career with in his 26th season leading Old Tappan. He’s the 10th North Jersey coach to reach that milestone.
