Rutgers basketball has landed its first commit of the 2027 class: shooting guard RJ Moore, who has committed to play for the Scarlet Knights, according to 247Sports, which ranks him as a 4 Star recruit, along with Rivals.
Moore, who hails from Huntersville, South Carolina, and plays his high school ball at Ambassador Christian School, stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 190 pounds. During his junior season, he played in 22 games and averaged 18.6 points per game, 2.5 assists per game and 8 rebounds according to his MaxPreps profile.
