TAZEWELL, VA (WVNS) – Two major milestones are quickly approaching for one local high school football program.
Tazewell High School will be celebrating 100 years of Bulldog football on October 2, 2026 when they take on Virginia High School at home. That will mark the exact day in 1926 when Tazewell football took their first steps as a program.

On that same day, they will also be celebrating the 40th anniversary of their incredible 1986 State Championship victory.
