Why four-star CB Censere Gaylord committed to Washington football

The Washington Huskies earned one of their biggest recruiting wins in the 2027 class on Saturday when four-star cornerback Censere Gaylord committed to Jedd Fisch’s program over Georgia and Georgia Tech.

The 6-foot, 170-pound product of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, who is originally from Southern California and ranked as the No. 112 overall prospect and No. 13 cornerback in the 2027 class by 247Sports, referenced a strong relationship with Fisch’s coaching staff as one of the biggest factors in choosing the Huskies, namely secondary coach John Richardson.
