Rory McIlroy names the score he needs to shoot on Saturday to still be able to win The Open

Rory McIlroy bounced back from his poor opening round at The Open.

He entered Friday at two-over par, with some work to do just to make the cut. But a second round 67 leaves him seven shots back of the leading Lucas Herbert with two rounds to go.

He’s further back from the lead than he’d like, but not out of it by any means. And McIlroy has a target score in mind for tomorrow to get him well in the mix.
