FAIRFAX, Va. — A man armed with a knife ran into an IHOP in Fairfax County early Tuesday morning, forcing customers and employees to evacuate, then stealing money before trying to run away, according to police.

Fairfax County Police said officers were called around 12:19 a.m. to the restaurant in the 9400 block of Blake Lane to help City of Fairfax Police.
