WASHINGTON — A federal judge has ordered President Donald Trump’s name removed from the Kennedy Center, ruling that the change violated federal law and that only Congress has the authority to alter the national memorial dedicated to President John F. Kennedy.
The decision came Friday in a lawsuit filed by U.S. Rep. Joyce Beatty of Ohio, a former member of the Kennedy Center Board.
