Graduation season is upon us. Following years of criticism, the school district has moved the graduation venue to Baltimore to accommodate families.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) graduating class of 2026 will be walking across a new stage this year. On Thursday, the full schedule of commencement ceremonies and their speakers was released.

MCPS will hold all graduation ceremonies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). The decision comes after years of feedback from families and staff across the district.
