The animals were rescued from an apartment in Northeast DC on Tuesday, according to the Humane Rescue Alliance.
WASHINGTON — Twelve animals were rescued from a Northeast DC home this week, after the Humane Rescue Alliance says they got a tip.
“So it was a tip from somebody out in the community who noticed some really foul smells coming from it,” said Tiffany Cotton, chief operating officer of the Humane Rescue Alliance.
She says investigators went to the home and found some really tough conditions.
