DC teens, parents share ideas to address violence in town hall

WASHINGTON — Teenagers, parents, community advocates, and DC leaders came together Tuesday night to develop ideas to address youth violence.

The GoGo Museum hosted a town hall focusing on curfews and peace, giving young people the mic and a chance to speak up.

“Tonight I wanna hear solutions. What do you need? And I will fight like hell to make sure you get it,” ANC Commissioner Markita Bryant said to the young people gathered
