Wounded Warriors Project Soldier Ride 250 began in Jacksonville, Florida and will end in New York City.
ARLINGTON, Va. — A group of 20 veterans arrived in the DC area on Memorial Day after completing a 250-mile ride from Norfolk, Virginia.
They’re part of the Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride 250, a nationwide relay honoring fallen service members.
In total, 80 riders are cycling 1,000 miles from Jacksonville, Florida to New York City, rotating in teams of 20 as each group completes a 250-mile segment.
