Deputies say a Sterling woman posed as a landlord, took rent and deposits, and never delivered housing.
STERLING, Va. — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying potential additional victims after a Sterling woman was indicted on dozens of charges tied to an alleged rental fraud scheme.
Kimberly Vu, 45, was arrested on Feb. 5 and indicted Monday by a Loudoun County grand jury on 26 charges, including obtaining money by false pretenses, according to the sheriff’s office.
