ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. — A 15-year-old faces charges in connection with possession of a dangerous weapon on school property after allegedly threatening to stab a teacher at Great Mills High School.

On Thursday, the school resource officer assigned to the high school was notified by the administration of the threat made earlier. After the threat, administrators searched the student and found a pocketknife in the student’s pants pocket.
