Broncos argue Brian Flores’ discovery requests are ‘punishingly overboard’

The Brian Flores lawsuit against the NFL made headlines again this week.

Flores’ legal team has served subpoenas to “25 NFL teams and served more than 1,000 discovery requests in an attempt to obtain leaguewide hiring records and communications related to discrimination claims,” according to a report from ESPN’s Kris Rhim.

Flores originally filed his lawsuit in 2022, accusing the NFL of racism in hiring. In addition to the NFL, the lawsuit also named the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins.
