Montgomery County faces tough decisions as the council votes on a controversial budget that could cut school funding by $36 million.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Two big meetings are set for Thursday in Montgomery County.
First, the county council is set to vote on its controversial fiscal budget for next year. Second, Montgomery County Public Schools will discuss how it will manage its budget after learning it will get less money from the county.
Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor previously warned he’d have to make job cuts if they aren’t fully funded.
