DC Government reverses course, agrees to pay millions owed to snow removal contractors

WASHINGTON — After days of reporting and questioning by WUSA9, the District of Columbia has agreed to pay tens of millions of dollars owed to two snow removal contractors who helped dig the city out after January’s historic snowstorm — but hundreds of small trucking companies that did the actual work are still waiting to see a dime.
