WASHINGTON — Two high school campuses will reopen on Thursday following HVAC issues.
Ballou High School and Cordozo Education Campus (EC) were dismissed early Tuesday and closed on Wednesday due to an extreme heat wave that took over the D.C. area.
The Department of General Services crews and contractors worked overnight Wednesday to restore and stabilize temperatures inside the schools.
At Ballou, a temporary chiller was installed at 6:30
