Southwest pilot buys pizza for delayed DCA flight

First Officer James handed out the pizza to passengers himself.

WASHINGTON — One group of passengers got a lucky break during a delay at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

According to Southwest Airlines, a pilot named James got off the plane during a traffic delay and bought pizza. Not just for himself, though. He got enough for the whole flight and brought it back to the plane. 

Southwest said James carried it back and passed it out to passengers himself, row by row.
