4-time Super Bowl-winning former 49ers coach dies at 83

Last week, the San Francisco 49ers lost a member of their 1981 Super Bowl-winning team, as tight end Charlie Young, who spent three seasons with the 49ers, died at 75 years old.

Just days later, the 49ers have lost another member of their family, as former running backs and wide receivers coach Sherman Lewis died at 83 years old on Friday.

Lewis was an All-American running back at Michigan State before playing for the Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL, the New York Jets in the NFL and the Waterbury Orbits of the Atlantic Coast Football League.
