WASHINGTON — Another surge of federal law enforcement is coming to D.C. ahead of the country’s 250th anniversary, according to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
Last August, President Donald Trump sent hordes of law enforcement from various federal agencies to D.C., deployed the National Guard and took over the Metropolitan Police Department on a temporary basis. It was all a part of his “Making D.C. Safe and Beautiful” executive order.
