A D.C.-area trucking company blames the city for unpaid subcontractors after January’s snowstorm; says it is owed tens of millions from the District.

WASHINGTON — A D.C.-area trucking company accused of leaving hundreds of subcontractors unpaid after January’s historic snowstorm is speaking out — and pointing the finger squarely at the DC Government.

District Logistics COO David Hawkins told WUSA9 the reason the company hasn’t paid all of its subcontractors is simple: the city hasn’t paid them.

“I know for a fact that the things that were being said or stated weren’t all true,”
