PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A new plan in Prince George’s County could mean faster cleanups and bigger fines for illegal dumping and neglected properties.

County Council Chair Krystal Oriadha introduced a seven-part package of legislation on Tuesday targeting illegal dumping, litter, vacant properties and illegal signs. One proposal, called See It, Snap It, Get Paid even offers cash rewards for residents who report violations.
