Michigan State women’s golf storm back, advance to NCAA championships

Michigan State’s women’s golf team stormed back from a tie for seventh place to finish among the top-five teams at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional in East Lansing and earned a trip to the NCAA Championships.

The Spartans will be one of 30 teams total from six regionals advancing to compete in the nationals, which will be played from May 22-27 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

Taylor Kehoe shot a 3-under 207 to finish in fourth place, the best 54-hole score by a Spartan in an NCAA Regional.
