Shooting leaves 2 hurt in Southeast

Police are still investigating exactly what led up to the shooting.

WASHINGTON — DC Police detectives are investigating after two people were shot in Southeast Sunday evening. Details about the shooting are scant as the investigation is still in its early stages.

Sixth District officers were called to the 1600 block of T Street Southeast for a report of a shooting around 7:15 p.m. When they got there, they found a man shot multiple times. Police say he was conscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
