WASHINGTON — A month after a triple shooting in Southeast D.C. left an 18-year-old dead, another 18-year-old has died from his wounds. Police identified the second victim as Le’Onte Tate. Tate died at the hospital on Friday.
The shooting happened on April 11 at around 6:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of 22nd Street Southeast. Responding officers found 18-year-old Dereon Womack shot and laying in a rear driveway. Despite lifesaving measures, Womack was pronounced dead at the scene.
