RICHMOND, Va. — Commonwealth Republicans are applauding the Virginia Supreme Court’s decision to strike down a voter approved redistricting scheme that could have dramatically favored Democrats.
“The Supreme Court ruling today affirms what we all know: you cannot violate the Constitution to change the Constitution,” Senate Republican Leader Ryan McDougle said in a statement.
