Hughes the 240th overall seventh-round linebacker pick out of MTSU, has played 1,910 career defensive snaps over four seasons for the Blue Raiders. He’s been a sound tackler and graded out well against the run by pff’s metrics this past season.

During the pre-draft process, he showcased his speed and explosiveness, running a 4.39-Second 40 and posting 35-50 inches on the vertical jump.
