PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A new bill could make Election Day in Prince George’s County, Maryland, a holiday for the area.
Prince George’s County Councilmember Wala Blegay introduced the bill on Tuesday. If passed, the bill would give county employees the day off work to vote.
Primary or special elections would not be a county holiday, according to the bill.
